Established in 1982 our professional chauffeur-driven wedding car service offers an exceptional choice of vehicles and is flexible with journeys to suit your individual requirements.
Our chauffeurs wear traditional tunic style grey uniform as shown in the photo's and all are proud of their attention to detail on your wedding day.
Our illustrations endeavour to show correct colour, condition and size of the vehicles, although we still recommend viewing as they tend to be larger and
more accommodating in the rear than may be apparent. Please remember that as many of the vehicles are exclusive to ourselves it is advisable to book as early as possible
to avoid disappointment.
For civil ceremony weddings where the ceremony and reception are at the same venue the vehicle will stay whilst the ceremony takes place and then,
immediately after this, take the bride and groom for a short drive, five minutes or so, before returning for their photographs and reception.
Our vehicles complement the bride, they are not the 'star' and travelling in them should be an enjoyment of a more serene and less rushed world.
Prices vary according to the vehicle and travelling distance from our Colchester base and there are discounts available for
non-Saturday church, civil and registry office services and for multi-vehicle booking. Payment can be taken by credit card over the phone on 01206 546348.
All our vehicles:
We offer a champagne service, allowing for engraved glasses and a half bottle of champagne to enjoy after the service.
We regret that in the event of a cancellation the booking fee is not refundable, but we do accept change of dates. Cancellations not notified two months prior to the wedding date are payable in full. We reserve the right of substitution should any vehicle not be available due to circumstances mechanical or otherwise beyond our control.

Dear le Baron
Thank you so much for your services at our recent wedding on Easter Sunday 2011. Please pass on our thanks to both chauffeurs. Both of them were fantastic-helpful, courteous and immaculately dressed. The cars were beautiful, elegant and very comfortable. We were very grateful for the iced water which was supplied in both cars- this was very welcome after nearly two hours of smiling for photos, especially on such a warm day. We had a magical wedding day, so please accept our thanks again for helping to make it so perfect.
Nick and Marya
Peter & Richard,
Thank you for being our chauffeurs and making our day extra special. The cars were lovely.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for the beautiful car we hired from you for our wedding on 5 January 2010. The driver was fantastic, so professional and very friendly. I felt like a princess as I left my parents house. A perfect way to start our wedding day. Thanks again.
Nicola & James
Thank you for being so brilliant on our wedding day. You did everything as you said you would and the spotty ribbon looked divine on the front of your beautiful cars. You helped towards the day being so perfect, and were a pleasure to deal with during all the planning. Hope your cats are OK!

These traditional coachbuilt limousines with their classical fluted radiator grills are a symbol of gracious dignity with an air of majesty which commands respect. Introduced in 1969 they remained in production with only minor changes to body fittings but with continual mechanical upgrades until 1992. During this time they were popular as royal and government limousines throughout the world.
They seat seven passengers in comfort and can take the bridesmaids and mother of the bride to the church then, subject to time and distance, return for the bride, with ample room for the largest of dresses, and her escort.
After the ceremony they transport the bride and groom in regal splendour to the reception. Our Daimlers are colour matched to our Rolls-Royce wedding cars and when they are used solely as the bridesmaids car they are available for the journey to the reception with the addition of the bride's escort.
Also popular for the groom's transport but again subject to timings and distances whereupon a small additional charge may be necessary.

Hello Peter
This is just a short letter to thank you very much for supplying the two wonderful daimlers for Tim and Claire's wedding on Saturday.
They arrived in very good time for the short journey to the church and the two drivers were very smart and professional. All of the party who
travelled in your cars, found them to be very comfortable and they were made to feel special.
Kind Regards

Commissioned specifically for exhibition at the 1949 Earls Court Motor Show this pre-war style touring limousine coachwork was hand built by James Young.
Little early history is known except the previous owner purchased it in the early 1960's and stopped using it in 1974 to start a restoration, which he never
finished. We purchased it in 2003 and completed a full overhaul of the mechanicals and a bare-metal respray. Most of the brightwork was also replaced or replated.
The fawn cloth interior is very comfortable and the rear (coach) hung rear doors give ease of entry and exit. The large Lucas P100 chrome headlights either side
of the famous Palladian-style Rolls-Royce radiator grill is a must for photographs.
The Silver Wraith, launched in 1947, was an evolution of the pre-war Wraith and was offered in the traditional chassis only form ready for the fitting
of Bespoke coachwork.
Rolls-Royce constantly refined the Silver Wraith during its production. The 4256cc engine was tuned to become the 'big bore' 4,566cc in 1951 and
automatic transmission was offered as an option in 1953, with our Paris Show car being the very first.
Once again the press raved about the car. 'All the world knows that Rolls-Royce carry on an unremitting search for engineering perfection in
everything they undertake. The qualities which made their aircraft engines famous, and their cars the finest
procurable, are the result of hard work scientifically conducted, and of a painstaking attention to detail from the large to most minute,
and now with this new range of cars it is believed that they are the best that Rolls-Royce have ever built'
The Silver Wraith was described like this: 'In common with all Rolls-Royce cars, the Silver Wraith has an indefinable something about it, a delicacy of behaviour, which
excapes definition in written words. It is a car for the connoisseur in cars'.
A huge thank you for the wonderful car you provided for our daughter Kates wedding
Stuart & Lindsay Westrope
The long wheel base chassis gives increased room to the passenger compartment
which is divided from the chauffeur by an electric glass division and is upholstered in light fawn cloth and retains the original matching seat covers. The woodwork
is heavily figured walnut.
The exceptionally comfortable and accommodating rear seat carries two or three and a further adult can be carried in the front.
In 1953 this Silver Wraith was hand-built by James Young with beautiful touring limousine coachwork and flown to Paris for the 1953 Paris Motor Salon. It is completely original with only
two previous owners and extremely rare being one of only seven built to this style.
In 1959 it was used by Elizabeth Taylor and Eddie Fisher for their honeymoon and passed to its second owner.
In 1966 it was decommisioned and locked away.
After 35 years, in 2001, it was re-commisioned and Le Baron acquired the vehicle exclusively for weddings.
In 2002 it paraded for the Queen and Prince Philip at Windsor Castle.
Dear Peter
My wife, Christine and I wish to say thank you so much for the service that you provided for our daughter's wedding yesterday.
The car was beautiful but we particularly wish to mention the chauffeur who was dressed perfectly for the part. I didn't catch his name but he
was totally professional, polite, discreet and co-operative at all times.
A first class service in every respect, many thanks.
Stephen and Christine Wright
The classic Rolls-Royce (and matching Bentley) styling from the mid 50's through to the mid 60's, has timeless beauty and grace
which belies their true size. Exceptionally comfortable with luxurious leather interiors and Wilton carpeting with walnut veneers.
Our model is one of the last made with the exceptionally smooth straight six 4880cc engine,
a V8 being used from early 1959.
We purchased the vehicle in 1989 in a semi derelict
state and had a full mechanical overhaul and body refurbishment.
To all in LeBaron
Thankyou for supplying us with such a beautiful car on our wedding day.
The service was so professional and efficient!
We would also like to say a huge thankyou to the chauffeur who was so kind and
friendly and really looked after us on our very special day!
Kind Regards
Nina and Barry
Le Baron are pleased to announce that following continued interest in our exclusive range of real traditional British quality wedding vehicles we have now sourced a ceremonial Rolls-Royce Phantom, similar to the one from the Queen's fleet which conveyed Kate Middleton to Westminster Abbey for her wedding.
Rolls-Royce continued to produce a chassis for coach-built bodies from 1968 to 1992 but only 374 were supplied, with over 70 to kings and queens and heads of state (seven of these being fully armour plated), 19 to public corporations, 18 to their "music, stage and screen" clientele, and the remainder to businesses and private owners, although one started in 1971 was not finished until 1993, and another was destroyed by fire on board a ship delivering to South Africa. For the majority of these magnificent carriages the body was individually built to the new owner's requirements. Ours was ordered in July 1973 and eventually supplied over two years later to the Alexander Howden Group in August 1975, but in the early 1980's became the Lord Mayor of Manchester's official transport with it being used by Princess Anne and the Duchess of Kent on official engagements. Because of the bespoke nature of the Phantom no price was ever quoted by Rolls-Royce but when new ours was about three times the average house price and the most expensive car in the world.
Recently refurbished and finished in Ascot grey, a very neutral mid-shade metallic, complemented with original Baroda blue wool interior, the same as the Queen's two Phantom VI's, and piped in Royal blue with matching Wilton carpeting and magnificent walnut veneers. This Phantom exemplifies regal luxury and includes two air conditioning systems. The car of choice for HRH Queen Elizabeth II. A full six/seven passenger vehicle which can accommodate the largest of dresses ours has large clear rear quarter lights providing an excellent view of the bride and groom. Step up into a Phantom.
Matching the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud but with the rounded Bentley radiator the 'S' Type in its neutral metallic pearl grey bodywork and deep red leather interior has always been popular for weddings. Purchased in 1982 to start our wedding business we encourage couples to view not just this but all our cars. The normal comment on sitting in the Bentley is, apart from the comfort and quality of the luxurious leather interior, that it "is much bigger than I thought".
Dear Peter
I am sorry it has taken me so long to send you my heartfelt thanks for helping me out on such short notice. I hired a beautiful 1958 Bentley from you for a wedding on the
26th July starting out at Felixstowe. Your car made the day, the bride was delighted and your service excellent. It was a real pleasure talking to such a kind and helpful
person.
Wishing you all the best

To Baron Cars
Just a little not to say how pleased we were with the
service provided to us on 10.08.2013.
The 1958 Bentley was stunning and made the journey from the
church to the venue even more enjoyable
Thank you so much.
Mr & Mrs Arnold
Le Baron,
Thank you very much for allowing us to book your 1958 Bentley S-Type Saloon
for our sisters wedding on Wednesday 3rd September 2014.
We booked the car as a surprise for the Bride and Groom and the service we
received was absolutely brilliant.
The car arrived on time, in perfect condition and with a very smart and courteous driver.
The Bride and Groom were utterly shocked and overwhelmed when they saw the car - thank you
for making the surprise possible and for the service your provided.
We will definitely be recommending you to friends and family.
Yours Sincerely
Craig and Rachel Charles.

Dear LeBaron.
We would just like to say a massive thank you to you, for the amazing service we received on our wedding day. The cars (and chauffeurs!) looked lovely, and
every effort was made to ease our comforts to and from the Castle. We could not have asked for nicer people to drive us on our wedding day, and I can't wait
to see our wedding photos with the cars.
My apologies for my dad's awful jokes on the way there - oh and yes we still would like to book you for our weekly tescos shopping trips! (The driver of the Silver
Cloud will understand this!)
Many thanks again!
Kindest Regards

This is a stylish pairing of two Ebony and Ivory coloured Cars
Peter,
I would like to thank you for the excellent service that you and your drivers provided for the marriage of my daughter
Mel and her new husband Dave. The cars were immaculate as were the drivers in their uniforms. Many of our guests were impressed
with the cars and service provided. The champagne went down well !! Again thanks very much for the service provided. You can be assured
that I will be recommending your company to anyone requiring wedding cars.
Chris Addison
Thank you for providing the most perfect transport for our wedding
day. The Ebony and Ivory matching pair were stunning and received a
lot of comments. Your drivers looked amazing on the day and were so
professional. Everyone appreciated the water in the cars and my husband and I
loved the champagne and engraved glasses, having just got married.
The service and professionalism involved from everyone we met in the
company was fantastic.
Thank you.
